At just 20 years old, this reigning Miss Guyana Earth Queen is ardently pursuing her goal of becoming a Criminal Lawyer, and is currently enrolled as a 2nd year International Relations student at the University of Guyana after which she plans to follow with a degree in Law.
Jefford explained, that she entered this pageant due to the perpetual love and pride she has for her country, and if chosen as ambassador, she intends to make her fellow Guyanese and the world more cognizant of all we have to offer in the tourism arena. She further noted, that the pageant’s inclusion of regional delegates is ideal since this venture would benefit Guyana significantly while fostering cross-cultural awareness and promoting social cohesion.

This 22 year old is no stranger to pageantry as she has built an incredible portfolio in the local pageant arena and has also gainfully represented Guyana at the Miss Caribbean World and Miss Europe Junior pageant.
In 2007, the then 18 year old Janella, placed first runner-up at the Miss Jamzone Beach Pageant, however when asked of her reasons for re-entering, she confidently explained over the years she has gained an immense amount of knowledge and experience which will be quite effective in securing the Miss Jamzone Guyana 2011 title.
Lewis enjoys modelling, singing and dancing and is studying Marketing at the University of Guyana in preparation for her desired career as an established Marketing executive

An excellent blend of beauty and intelligence, Niketa Barker 20, Miss Eureka Lab.
This Biracial beauty hails from Berbice and is the youngest of three siblings.
Niketa’s lifelong dream is to become a Doctor and is currently registered as a ‘Medicine’ student at the University of Guyana, working feverishly to accomplish her goal. She further explained that during her career she will aim to make an enormous and substantial impact on the lives of her fellow Guyanese.
Barker finds delight in modeling, reading and hanging out with friends, who incidentally coerced her into entering the contest since they believe she has all the traits of a Queen.
Niketa has no prior experience in pageantry, however she explained that she intends to use the experiences and skills gained from this contest to build a portfolio and further her pageant career. She will proudly represent her hometown and hopes to receive full support from the public in this venture

A born Libra, Jovan possesses a dazzling personality, warm and welcoming smile and the astounding ability to light up a room on her mere entry.
Her life’s ambition is to become a Tourism Ambassador to further promote and develop Guayana’s vast natural resources while working along with the relevant authorities to initiate new and evolving strategies that can boost our economic pillar.
Jovan is currently a teacher at the Institute of Distance and Continued Learning and in addition to her nine CXCs subjects she has also achieved an Associtaes Degree in Tourism and Hospitality.
Wilson enjoys modeling, fishing and photography and intends to lucratively represent her sponsors, Fusion Sound Company, with utmost pride

18 year old Jenelle Babb, a proud and familiar face of the mining town, Linden, stands poised and positive as a contender in the Miss Guyana Jamzone 2011 pageant.
This jubilant teen is an eager pageant enthusiast who believes that pageantry is not just a beauty exhibition but a forum geared at empowering young women to realize their true potential while building self-awareness which fosters confidence.
She enjoys modeling, dancing and singing and is also an avid supporter of local Football and Basketball.
Incidentally, Jenelle is also the youngest contestant and has already claimed several titles including Miss Guyana Talented Teen (2009) at age sixteen and first runner-up at the Miss Linden Town Week (2009) pageant.

A humble and somewhat introvert young woman blessed with classic beauty and a brilliant mind, Candia is proud to boast and represent the region of spectacular natural beauty, tranquil scenery and a multiracial populace, Bartica.
Miss Paul is currently employed as a Clerk at the Bartica Regional Democratic Council and hopes to one day accomplish a Diploma in Public Management and become a future Regional Executive Officer.
This teen considers the Miss Jamzone pageant a great forum for young women of all backgrounds and ethnicities to showcase their skills and talents while building confidence and poise. During the competition, Paul will be illustrating the beauties of her hometown while promoting Cultural tourism, which she believes should be further explored in Guyana.
